Video: ‘The Beauty of Liberty and Equality’ (2020)

This clip depicts the completion of the mural ‘The Beauty of Liberty and Equality’ in Austin, TX, created by Shepard Fairey (OBEY) and Sandra Chevrier, commissioned by the Downtown Austin Alliance and hotelier Sydell Group in conjunction with the 2020 Writing On The Walls annual series to commemorate the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage in the U.S.

Cool For A Living served as on-site production management for the mural project, providing art direction, municipal and logistical insight for the scope and duration of the project, as well as the accompanying slate of programming centered around the completion of the mural, including workshops, conversations, film screenings, art competition, DJs, VIP dinners and press coverage.
